Milford clears way for new city beach

Posted Sept. 5, 2007

Milford (WTNH) _ The land has been cleared for a new public beach in Milford,
but city officials have to approve it before development can continue.
Plans for Stowe Beach include a bench, walkways, and a ramp so the disabled
can enjoy the sun and sand. It would be a smaller beach at only 200-feet and
could be done next spring if a plan put forth by developers is approved.
